Looks lovely, despite the rust? You gonna DIY it or have a shop do the work?

I feel you. I was just looking at the DIY clutch replacement thread the other day and I could already feel the exhaustion from trying to do this myself lol

Yeah it seems a bit too daunting to me so I'll let the professionals do it while I'm at work. Also if something screws up, they can deal with it.

Preach! Sometimes its worth paying for some reassurance.

How does your tire setup feel with your added hp/tq now that you have moved to 225s? I am seriously debating moving up to a 245/35/18 setup using WRX 15 spoke JDM wheels. Do you feel you have enough grip or do you want more?

I feel like I'm gonna want more grip now that I have a Harrop kit on the way.

I haven't noticed much slip. But honestly, I also haven't really pushed it since I switched from oem wheels with 225/45 PSS to the TSW's with 225/40 conti's. But the grip is great so far, and I haven't broken traction even when I try. I'd say 225 is a proper size for our cars. But I will admit I should have just stuck with summers instead of the all seasons haha.

I feel you. Hehe I run summers in the winter and when it snows its scary shit lol. Makes me wish for snows or an all season.

Yeah I just don't know what the added power is gonna feel like and how that will translate to traction. I don't want to be so sticky that I can never get the rear end out haha.

Well if that's the case, I'd say get the 225's or maybe 235's. Anything more than that seems like overkill. I haven't experience my car in snow, as central Texas rarely gets it. And if so, it's barely an inch.

Hopefully when I get out of Texas I can experience actual season!?

Yeah I'm thinking either 235's or 245's will suit me just fine and leave room for power gains down the road.

Didn't think you'd get snow down there haha. If you get the chance to play tho its great fun haha.

Do you know which tire you're going to get? Michelin PSS seem popular

Yeah I'd like to go with the PSS. I have Toyo Proxes now and they're fine, but everyone seems to dole out praise for the Michelins. Plus they're in line with my build theme hehe

Haha yeah they are nice tires for sure! I chose the Conti's simply because they were cheaper, just as light, and well rated. But having had them on oem wheels, I can say they are pretty good.
