The lines are very similar to many exotics. Definitely not a bad thing.

Agreed. I get that from my coworkers all the time. I hope my boss doesn't think he pays me too much.

I was sitting at a red light playing rap music too loud, and I hear "HEY buddy!".. and it's a BMW with two guys up front with their wives in the back all just staring at my car.

"Who makes that?"
"Subaru, it's their new affordable coupe"
"WHAT?.. he said it's a Subaru.. 3 Cylinder?"
"Nah it's a little 4." then the light turned green

3 Cylinder, get outttta here

Living in a place where people aren't too familiar with cars besides commodores and camry's, I usually get this sort of reaction from kids:
"Is that the new Supra?!"

And then the older guys will be like:
"Damn, that's a pretty nice car... Ferrari? BMW? wait... TOYOTA? WAT?"

Nice car, nice looking car, is it fast? Those are the typical comments. Then there's the who makes it ?question. Scion is still pretty unknown to a big percentage of people here. I guess I don't have to feel embarrassed like so many Americans seem to be. Lately people ask why I didn't get the Subaru. I tell them I prefer the look of the Scion over the toys.

I have had many comments, here's a few...

Neighbor: That's a nice car, what is it?
Me: A Subaru BRZ.
Neighbor: What make is it?

Cop: You were doing 73 in a 55.
Me: Really?!
Cop: Yeah...these cars are faster than you think.

Another neighbor: Nice car...I have a WRX...is it AWD?
Me: No, RWD...
Another neighbor: When are you going to put a turbo in it?
Me: Never...it's perfect as it is.

At Safeway, a guy was pushing a cart with his family in the parking lot. As I pulled out, he tried to turn to take a better look of the car and nearly fell over himself (been there&#128513

Old lady: That's a beautiful car...love the color (didn't ask what it was, she didn't care)

Daughter: Dad, can me and my friends take photos of ourselves next to your car?

I think it may be location related...there are not too many around my town, so it tends to draw a lot of stares, but there's a lot of rich students with supercars, so it's nice to get some attention...😊

Only thing people say right now is, "when's it coming out of the body shop?" I just say soon with a sad face

Haha, yeah, it's not too bad in TO. Many around our area, maybe it's you I keep seeing at the stoplight on Henderson and Glen Cameron in the morning?

From a BRZ owner that flagged me down in a parking lot...

"Where in the world did you get the Toyota version? The guys at the Scion dealer didn't know what I was talking about when I asked about it..."

From tons of people:

"Are THOSE the FACTORY seats?! Wow!"

At track days, usually from the crazy high horsepower crowd...

"Man, what do you have done to that thing? I could not keep up with you in the corners!"

From a friend with an R33 GT-R who was poking fun at the lack of power before going for a spirited drive...

"Man, I was wrong! That thing hustles in the corners!"
