I just wanna buy a GR86 with Brembos. It better have Brembos. Would've gotten the 2019 TRD if I hadn't just bought my 2017 a year prior.

There is an article out at the moment that has a circuit pack coming to Spain models. 18inch forged, upgraded brakes, cup 2 tires.

Have no idea if its hogwash, or not. But I gotta say with such limited numbers being produced in EU and with such demand, I am unsure why they don't spec the heck out of the few they are selling to maximise what little sales they have.

Cup 2s seem like overkill for this car, reviewers would be making the same complaint they made when the first gen started being made available with the Pilot Sport 4s - too much traction, you can't have any real tail-out fun as the engine doesn't have the power to break the rear loose.

Its either too little tire (the "prius" tires) or too much tire (Pilot sport 4)

There's no in between with anything in regards to this car lol.
I think the funny thing is this car IS the in between that people desire but it isn't the in between that they want.

If it's possible to get a GR86 (big if around here) I am thinking of taking a middle of the road course, swapping the Sport 4s for Pilot A/S 4s. That would lower the traction limits, but (I am hoping) not to the extent the Primacies do. It would also do away with the need for winter tires (I would only drive it in winter when the roads were clear of snow). When I asked him, Matt Maran thought this would work well.

"The GR86 is PERFECT and fixes all the problems with the crappy first gen. Can anybody recommend what upgrades I should do to the tires, suspension, headers, exhaust, head unit, wind buffeting, tune and when will we get FI?"

People seem genuinely disappointed to learn these cars drive off the lot just fine in the stock formation.

Its so perfect that it needs some upgrades to be even more perfect, and this extra dose of perfection should have been done from the factory to begin with!

But there's no way it should cost more than $15k MSRP!

And one too exactly my specs should be sitting on the lot waiting for me the minute I decide I want it.
