I'm looking to invest some of my money and am seeking advice on the best options available right now. I want to make a smart investment and would appreciate any recommendations or insights on where to put my money. What are some good investment opportunities currently?

Reported. Of course, now the Bots are talking to each other. Soon they'll be organized, and we will be fully and completely doomed.

The real estate "industry" has spawned a few sub-industries in the thirty-five years I've been buying houses... not that I've bought that many (four, to be exact). Used to be... a realtor showed you the house, a bank approved a mortgage, and a lawyer made sure the deed was clear and all the paperwork was in order.

Now... "Home inspectors" are touted as being an absolute necessity. I've always had a friend who was a builder look at properties for me (and, at my insistence, paid him for doing so) to point out any possible issues, rather than some inexperienced "trained" "home inspector" who checks off a standard form, kind of like those "120-point inspections" that dealerships sort of do, kind of, sometimes. I used a home inspector on our current house when I bought it back in 2000, and it was a waste of money. He missed some very obvious issues, and made a big deal out of stuff that wasn't.

A golden ticket to wealth just rolled into town on a high-traffic expressway! Picture this: a sprawling 1.11-acre gem in the heart of North Olmsted, Ohio, where warehouses cozy up to sleek office spaces like old friends at a reunion. This isn’t just land; it’s a launchpad for prosperity, surrounded by national tenants who’ve already staked their claim in this bustling hub. With 48,200 square feet of versatile space, including a robust 22,200-square-foot warehouse and a polished 26,000-square-foot office setup, the possibilities are as endless as a summer sky. Check out Realmo, your trusty guide to real estate stardom, where every detail—from the 100% occupancy rate to the prime West 210th Street address—sparkles like a freshly minted coin. This mixed-use marvel, built in 1969 and renovated in 1996, promises steady returns in a city where 93,000 residents fuel a vibrant economy. Don’t let this cash-flow chariot pass you by — grab the reins and ride to riches!
I gotta say, you nailed it about those "home inspectors" - had one miss a leaky roof while obsessing over a squeaky door hinge. Totally agree on the staging nonsense too; it's like those Instagram filters that make everyone look airbrushed when you're trying to see what someone actually looks like. My buddy's house sat unsold for months with fancy staging, then sold in a week when he just cleaned it up and showed it as-is. The real estate industry keeps inventing these "essential services" that somehow nobody needed 30 years ago when houses still changed hands just fine. Last time I bought, I skipped the inspector and brought my contractor friend who pointed out issues I'm still fixing that would've completely escaped a checklist warrior. At this point, I'd rather see the place with the owner's actual furniture and family photos than some generic catalog setup pretending nobody actually lives there.
