I'd imagine that these engines are mostly assembled on a line by robots, so could "excess sealant" be a fairly common issue or just a one in a thousand or 10 thousand occurrence?

These meets are in the Northern VA area (DC, MD, VA)

For your area I know there's a Facebook group. Hampton Roads I believe.

Ive found several other occurences on the forum. Some in more critical areas causing spun rod bearings.

I bought my '14 Limited just about a month ago with 6,500 on the odometer, I'm probably within a couple hundred miles of 8k by now. (Pulls on collar, crosses fingers)
