I drove the v6 version with worked suspension plus grippy tires and i caN say the genesis R-spec is the "poor-man" GTR. Not bad at all but you need budget to make it.

As someone who has driven a 13B swapped RWD Toyota Tercel, the same could be said about any car.

Sure, with money and labor you can do everything.
Still looking for FRS with LFA engine swap.

I am no automotive engineer, but my ass has been called smart on several occasions. $10,000,000 and I'll figure it out for you.

From the odd kink in the side shoulder line to the tiny snout on the original, this thing was only going to shine if snagging the Genny sedans 8 . . . which it didn't get.

There's always been a wannabe quotient about this one that made me kinda sad.

Ain't gonna miss it.

I would love to see a Hyundai Genesis commercial in the vein of the classic "Genesis Does What Nintendon't" commercials.

From what I can tell Hyundai went from the Tiburon to the Genesis in terms of 'sporty' vehicles.

That's like going from a 1975 Mustang to a 2005 Mustang in the span of <10 years from the last gen Tiburon to the '13+ Genesis.

If they had put resources into it, they could do something interesting very soon.

I think you are right, Hyundai has great potential. Unfortunately, it seems like their focus has shifted to luxury/amenities rather than driving dynamics. That's what I get from recent reviews anyways.
