So bought this off a member on here. Extremely helpful and really quick delivery seeing as I'm in the UK!
Essentially it's a piece of carbon fibre (can be made from anything strong enough like plastic or metal) with 2 holes to be bolted onto the steering wheel hub and the other 2 to attach the cruise control stalk, as shown below This can only be used with a quick release boss like the NRG, which is exactly what I'm getting. Will keep this thread updated with pics when the hub, boss and wheel arrive to show installation |

So are there hubs that can be installed without the ABS light issue coming up? Someone recommended Works, but I hear some people still get the light. Install issue? Or is there really no way around it?

Need some help, just installed my boss short hub and have an airbag light. However I had an airbag light before because I bought the car with salvage title and front end damage. Both seatbelts locked up and driver airbag went off. Sent ecu out to get codes cleared and the seatbelts out to get rebuilt. Got everything back and installed it and still have airbag light. The orange and black plugs would not come off the airbag after it detonated so I had to cut the wires. I wired both resistors to the wires directly and still have airbag light. Any help would be appreciated. Not sure what to do next. Would the light come on because the connection is not as good as if I were plugging the pins in to the connector? Does it matter if red goes to red and black to black? What about the blue?
Edit, guess I had to put together the hvac controls because of the airbag indicator on it. Light is off now and all is well Last edited by nmullin11; 10-02-2016 at 10:39 AM. Reason: I figured it out |

so stupid me decided to buy the NRG SRK-120H (short hub) without actually realizing that this involved removing the OEM clockspring and didnt even include resistors or anything. So I am now looking to rectify this. The obvious workaround would be to buy a Works Bell hub (WB-540S) or NRG Regular Hub (SRK-125H) in which both of these will allow the clockspring to be used again. Has anyone who has tried going this route to put the OEM clockspring back in from previously removing the clockspring be successful in having the airbag light, traction control, and ABS light turn off and have the system run as normal?
