Yeah, that's Steve Miller. He posted this in the Keystone State 86 Club Facebook group page last night. The big north side parking garage meet last night. I saw it there, too.

So I finished the install, which was......fun... Under 3k, the car is completely normal, but the second you get to 3k and it starts to build boost, it's just awesome. Holy hell.

did you slap in the kit by yourself? and how long did it take for the install? I'm pretty mechanically inclined so was considering doing it myself. would be my first turbo install but have a buddy who's done a couple and he will be with me.

Installed it with two of my buddies. Took two days total, because the bolts connecting the stock header to the overpipe were a complete pain to remove(ended up shearing one of the bolts). Then while installing the downpipe, the two lower bolts are a complete bitch to get to. That's what took the majority of the time.

As far as experience goes, this was the first time I've ever done a turbo install. Only thing I've done before was a complete engine(7M-GE) rebuild.

The other two helped with that rebuild, and one of them have turbo'd another car.

So, completely doable in a weekend. You might just hit a few annoying snags.

that's kind of what I was figuring. I remember the those same bolts being a PITA when I put the borla on but that was pretty recent so hopefully they aren't as bad this time around. appreciate the answer. i'm guessing it was totally worth it though?

It was completely worth it. Below 3k, it's a normal BRZ, above 3k.......is just amazing.

Yellow fog lights? I forget if I was in the car at night recently or not.
