I've done some research on a wheel setup and it looks like it'll "fit". I would just like to confirm and possibly get any pics of the setup, if available.

17x9 +30 245/40

Stock suspension for now, but will be lowering it soon. I know it'll poke at stock, so I might just wait till I lower it to put them on.

Thanks in advance!
I'm running 18x9 +30 with 245/35s stock suspension, no rub issues. A little pokey pokey, but I like it. Next year it'll get dialed in. -2.5 all the way around and some coils

terrible alignment specs for running a meaty tire on the street, you won't even use 1/4 of it then.

lol this is true.

Also, I don't think 3.2 is excessive camber by any means. If you're running 0 camber all around, it just means you aren't gripping as well in the corners.

I'm at -2.5 all around (265/295) and my contact patch is fine, thank you

I don't solely use this beast of track car on the street. I think -2.5 is fairly mild actually. I track and autox. I thought it'd be a happy medium for street and track.
What is your opinion on a good alignment spec?

While there are worse things people do, I do agree with him that is on the excessive side for mostly straight line day to day traffic.

Why would I answer that when you or Jive have a technical response to the original comment?

This is the meaty tire thread not the bitch about and say how "excessive" or "terrible" a whole 2.5 or 3.2 rear camber is.

no need for that attitude.

And yes, tire wear does have something to do with it. My RE11 at the end of their life had pretty noticeable camber wear and I rotated them often and i'm always checking pressures. If majority of what you do is street driving then you will for sure see it wear unevenly with that much camber. Mind you I was only running -1.8 in the rear.

Running camber in the front is one thing, the rear is another.

May I ask what your toe specs are?

What suspension do you run?

Right now i'm running -1.6 in the rear..08 toe in per side. -1.9 in the front with slight to out.

my favorite setup was when the front was at -2.2 slightly toe out, rear at -1.8 toe in a bit. car turned in so nicely.

Attitude? You're the one who called two people's specs out and said they were "terrible." My brash attitude is along the same lines as yours.

BC Coilovers. 0.08 toe in as well, -3.5* front camber with toe at 0.

This isn't my first rodeo with camber. I used to run -6.4* (natural from just the drop) on a double wishbone front suspension and drove that like a madman. Rears were around -4.5. Tires lasted me 10-12k miles. Completely negligible to me so don't use tire wear as an explanation as this is less than half of that specific set up. Oh and that was with 360 treadwear which isn't much...

My car is very reactive to input which I want and has no negative effects, no squirelly, no unstable high speeds from toe or camber, etc.

Does everyone forget that toe kills tires, not camber?
