Well, I've been lurking for a long time and posting for a week or so so I figured I would drop in here.

I'm from the Central Valley in Cali and work in the bay area. I sold my previous dream car, a 2005 STi for a Whiteout A/T FR-S. I have owned a 84 SR5 Corolla for about 6 years, but I only had the chance to drive it for two weeks before it became a stripped shell waiting for a 20V swap. In the end it never came to light, but over the years I have spent countless hours on Club4AG and loved the idea of the FR-S since I heard of it. I couldn't be happier with the car and I look forward to being a part of the community. I met a few goods friends through Subaru meets, but I have always felt connected to Toyota more as that is what I learned to work on (91 MR2 turbo) and have spent so much time researching and loving even though I didn't drive one. Lol

Welcome. Ohio, eh? ...Get on Hawk to make some more braking components for us! (I think they only offer front pads right now...)

How's it going everyone? Posting from Miami, FL looking to get into the FR-S family. Any Miami people have a good recommendation for a dealer that won't try to kill me?

thanks

Hey what's up everybody.

I've been lurking on these forums for long enough and finally seeing how everybody here seems pretty cool, I decided to sign up.

I'm from Queens, NYC and arguably the worst place to be driving my new Raven FRS MT, but I'm still loving the car.

I traded in a 2003 mercedes c320, which was my parents and had way too many issues with it. Got about 4k out of it so I walked off the lot from Scion of Manhattan with my new FRS, and only drove stick twice before that. Fortunately my brother was there to drive it back. Going through manhattan traffic with a brand new stick, would have been the worst experience of my life. Now I'm driving the car everywhere.

Hello everybody. I have also decided to join after lurking for a long while, ever since the car was just a concept. What made me decide to join is that our much-anticipated car is now a production reality.

I am from Manila, Philippines. The car will be released here by Toyota sometime this June and by Subaru later in the year.

I currently drive a civic 1.8L for the reliability. Performace-wise it sucks but we do not have much of a choice of performance models in the Philippines. The Type R was not even released here. It is great that Toyota is finally bringing a sports car to our shores.

Just put my deposit down on an Argento FR-S AT. I drive ~80 miles a day to and from work, which is why I went with the auto. This will be my first auto, agh! I can't wait to get behind the wheel and take it for spin. I hope I love it!

So 'Hello' from a future owner - O.C. CA

howdy

370z owner here, but I'm a huge car enthusiast, and I really like these cars.

I may pick one up as a DD eventually.
