Wife picks them up at Smart & Final. The Southwestern and the Asian are our favorites. They are convenient. Great for picnics too.

Turns out Japan has a name for some of what goes on in this thread.
Meshi-Tero

飯 (meshi, “meal”) +‎ テロ (tero, “terrorism”)
飯テロ (hiragana and katakana めしテロ, rōmaji meshitero)

(slang) the "terrorist" act of inciting someone's appetite via food porn
AKA Food Terrorism.

I'm experimenting with making my own dry rub. I have powdered worcestershire, garlic powder, onion powder, dehydrated ground lemon peel, black pepper, white pepper, kosher salt, and powdered soy sauce. I think that will work, now I just need to get the right ratios.

Anything else I should add?
