That's insane with that thread! Thanks for posting @evo4g63 good looking out! Feel bad for the OP and how things are working out with them. Hopefully there isn't a lawsuit even tho I think it's what needs to be done to an ignorant person like John @Visconti . Dude needs to learn how to make parts and reliable parts at most!

Here is the story from the owner of what use to be a BRZ

Just to be clear I am not trying to start anything just letting everyone know. Visconti was the one physically tuning the car when it happened.

I know you are a little more cautious then most that just buy something, install it and hope for the best. I also know your willing to spend a little extra to make sure it's right. This is for people like me that are clueless about flex fuel and the potential risks of not doing your research before just trusting someone else's word.

Knowing what I know now I would just build my own kit for about 350 then pay a tuner to tune.

And the agricultural one is actually brown boards/wood, not sure how that'd look in real life but it's better than many of them. I like how it's the most plain and solid-color like. You hot lava guys should totally get the Phoenix Suns one.

(no that's not my choice)
The online simulator for personalized plates does show the correct text color for the plate, so the PBS plate would have red, actually more maroon lettering.

Actually that might look kind of good with PBS then. Red letters to match the red taillights, the orange swoosh parts match the orange lights, etc.

Hmm the cop plate could look really good too matching the orange lights. I'll have to see yours in person.

Also I'm wasting far too much time with this.

I am a bit biased since its my plate, but the cop plate looks reeeeally good on dark blue cars. I had the same cop plate on my silver miata and it looked pretty bad. The slim black plate surround i have really does clean it up though.
