At least I got a couple of pics to see what it looks like in the sparkling sun all cleaned up.
Yeah, after a couple hours my car usually has a fine layer of dust or pollen. On any other color, you wouldn't notice it, but black... ohhh black you see it all. But I applied a synthetic sealant (Ammo Skin) before I put the wax on. So... it should last an extra day lol

They only call people out on plates if they want a reason to pull them over. If not, they will just go on with their business. If they do pull someone over... they either think they are going to find something, car is stolen, or sometimes they just want a closer look at the ride...but there is usually an ulterior motive...

In your case he probably wanted to check out your ride and needed an excuse...lol

Well if they wanted to checkout my ride, they could have at least got it right. They called it a Hyundai LOL!

And that is probably why they pulled you over... they were like damn Hyundai is making some great looking vehicles... let me get a closer look without making it so obvious... Oh look... no front plate... I guess I'm going to have to pull this guy over...The cop will probably go out and buy a BRZ or FR-S/86 now... lol

this wouldn't be a problem, but i hate dealing with cops and would prefer not to have any interface with them if i can.

I spoke with the insurance adjuster the next day, and she said that once the claim is in, even if i fix it and they pay out 0$, it will be on the record and increase my premiums. so i kind of gave up at that point, and decided to just let them handle it.

This was my first time when an airbag went off, and i wasn't thinking straight (had ringing/hearing loss in my ears for 3 days, afterwards).
The next day i immediately regretted it, because my insurance premium is going to destroy me now, and i could have just paid a few thousand out of pocket to fix it.
I've had this car for under a year, and have already clayed/waxed it 3 times, rustproofed, etc. so calling insurance was an emotional decision, not a rational one.

Oh well, you live and you learn, i guess...
31,000$...
Bullshit it's automatic right off. Mine wasn't. Repairs estimated about 5000$. That's far from the value of the car

Same here, man. we have showers and dust storms every other day, washing is pointless.

Congratulations are in order, (as long as you put it in the right place).

I know someone (blonde female) who topped up her engine oil using an eye dropper down the dipstick tube. I asked her how much did she have to add and she said it only needed a few drops. This is a TRUE story.

Haven't had a speeding ticket since 1998. After 6 months of owning the frs. I get caught doing 92 on 60 lmao!!!...sneaky unmarked challenger. My radar didn't pop. He was moving with traffic. Didn't see him up ahead and decided to take the right lane to pass. I swear I was doing 85 at most. But he says 92. Didn't give him much of a fight. Hopefully judge takes it easy on me!!
