Screw that forum post man.... Its all BS.... They cant take away a warranty just cause its on the track... Your insurance wont do shit if anything does happen but cant take away a warranty when you dont have any mod or anything with the drivetrain or engine

I would swear by Royal Purple but unless you are really pushing that engine its kinda expensive for oil. I used it in a 650whp Supra back in the day because no one was making synthetics as good as Royal Purple in '98. Nowadays you can find quality synthetics in almost every brand. I'm partial to Amsoil just because they havent let me down yet. Some royal purple full synthetic will set you back about $18 a quart (average most sell it for about that much.) Amsoil full synthetics run about $10...but in the end its whatever you feel best about.
I guess if you are asking whether there would be any detrimental effects running in a boxer config, you have nothing to worry about, juust dont run the 0w20 stuff, it will be too thin in our summers. That being said, since i just bought my turbo kit today, I'm considering going Royal Purple ... |

Well RP is really really high quality, but in the stock boxer 4 you'd probably be able to get away with any synthetic from any reputable brand. If you were to boost your engine or tune it so that you're running 9k rpm then i would wholeheartedly say go with a pure racing brand as their formulations are oriented to the more extreme levels of performance. TBH i think the RP was even overkill for my old Supra which even at 650hp wasnt really pushing the components, i used it more for peace of mind than anything.

This thread is kinda what I had in my for the first post with our names. Lots of work for Jeff though as he will need to edit it.
