Six year old comments are a kick, change S2000 to 86, any of the competitor cars to modern muscle or leave the Z car comparison and drop 'em into an article posted today and nobody would know the difference.

LOL! So true!! The last two I quoted.. put a smile on my face.

You guys really pick "feel" over going around the track faster? That's cool to each their own. I do open track events at least once a month and I personally prioritize acceleration and mechanical grip. If the car is too small to hold tires and tools it better be stupid fast. (in my opinion anyway) Maybe pointless was too strong. Just seems to me the s2k isn't the fastest way around a track for the money. And yes I have driven all cars being discussed

If you have to ask...

...you'll never know.

I really liked the way the S2000 drove, i just wish it had a bit more power...

Pure sports cars only make sense when they are actually fast. STi and EVO will crush the S2k on a road course and family cars like the Camry with 3.5L motor are a match for the S2k in the stoplight drag races. Why bother with the car, especially when it costs 35k

I like the overall shape, the windows, the roof, but the trunk lid/tailights look a bit busy. The face must be probably mild, based on recent Accord changes. Looks bigger than the old one. Maybe its just the proportions. And whatsup with the wheels that look melted? LOL.
So they make a hatch/coupe like shape, yet keep it as trunk, not a hatch? That is probabyly going to be a pita opening to deal with.

Agreed, overall not bad looking but the wheels look so small in proportion to the body, the fenders look huge

Yea definitely needs new wheels. The coupe should be much nicer in many ways including in this respect.

My biggest gripe is the way pedestrian collision requirements mandate those bulbous hoods... Our cars got away relatively good, but none of the civics post-2005 look that great just because of that damn bulge...

This one is a marked improvement though... At least from the side...

The grille looks less sharp and generally worse in my opinion. The previous generation looked great from the front.

People from the Civic forum seemed to have pointed out that this has a trunk rather than a hatch.

Looks like they still haven't learned that large chrome beaks on cars don't sell. You'd think they'd have figured this out by now after the Acura beak fiasco...

I honestly think that the Acura grille is the best looking one out of the three Japanese premium marques, though there is really not much competition. :|
