Hmmm...Let's see. Not my best story, but just one I picked.

Most of the races I have listed were all "setup" races. So there isn't much in terms of "depth" to them. Back about 3yrs ago, we use to have 100+ car meets every Saturday down at the Titans Stadium. We also had little meets here and there.

This one meet there was a little buzz about the little Scion that was boosted (first Scion in Middle TN to be boosted so I had a lot of challenges back then). So, after I had been racing all kinds of cars, some guys wanted to test their cars against mine. This one guy had a 240sx with an RB20 swapped in it. He just got it dropped in and it was running stock boost (7-8lbs I think he said it was). Stock side mounted intercooler also. He asked for a race so I obliged.

First race.

That was the end of that....that is until the next weeks car meet. He had changed some things on it (FMIC upgrade, more boost...etc). So, he found me again and said he changed some stuff and wanted to run with me again to see how it will do. I had not changed anything on the tC, so the same boost as during the first time we raced.

Rematch Race (youtube jacked my audio, so this is the link to it on Streetfire).
http://www.streetfire.net/video/zpi-...40sx_53434.htm

So, the tC held it's own like it has been since I bought it. Very proud of this little bugger and what it is capable of once it's in the hands of someone who puts real mods on it.

You sure that one wasn't a SR20DET?

Also in 2007 I was the first boosted 8th Gen civic Si to be running around, and you arnt kidding, everybody wants to test there stuff out on the new boosted car that's around. I kept on with it and eventualy was pushing 411whp, which was crazy on a civic, at least to me, I know now days I go back on my old 8thcivic forum and there's a bunch in the 400 club now. But it was great at the time

Yeah I'm sure. All my races are setup rather than random meets on the road. We all would meet up at the spot, and then pick places to run. People pop their hoods and we all check out who's got new mods or whatever. I've raced an SR20 240sx also. Beat him by a bus length, don't have that one on vid though, as that one actually was a random one on the way to the Spot.

Story though was...I was just cruising on the interstate heading down to the Titans stadium for the meet. I start coming up on this red 240sx and I pass him minding my own business. As I pass, he accelerates a little to get next to me and then he lets off to the sound of the BOV....LOL. I chuckled pretty good and thought "Oh no he didn't...LOL". So I reciprocated the action by letting my HKS SSQV chirp. He flipped the dome light on and was excited to realize that it was "the tC he had heard about"....LoL. So, as whe are still at interstate speeds his passenger and him motion for a quick run. I obliged and proceeded to put a good spanking on him after the 3rd honk...

Later after getting to the spot I ran into him again. And we swapped car build stories.....Man those were the days. Now....no more meets at the stadium, and it's hard to get a meet period with a mass group without suffering the Immature nature of Ricers doing burnouts and reving their shitty ass fart cans. Then eventually the spot gets broken up by the PD and told to move on.

Yeah, when I moved back to Houston, I didn't know where any of the meets were, and didn't really find any worth attending till about a year had passed and the civic was gone and I had the supra, but eventually I found a fairly decent Lil meet, but it's mostly old school muscle with a few newer vettes and cameros sprinkled in, and at the back of course are the imports mostly 350's and WRX's, and wouldn't you know the muscle guys hate the imports, but know what mine is capable of and always wanna do some pulls, lol I keep telling them it's just BPU but they don't care

Stock twins, 18 on the daily, 22 when racing, going compound turbo setup next year, should put me around 750whp then gonna build block and head and crank up to around 950-1000. But that last part may be 2012, lot more planned but that's the biggest stuff, you?

You thought about doing the RWD conversion that's out for the TC?

Naw, going to keep it FWD. If I got a second tC then I would think about a RWD conversion. Use to have a 350z before I sold it. So, looking to get an FT-86 to get back into a RWD for drifting (what I did with my 350). I am trying my hardest to not turn it into a full spec'd out drift car or race car. Just something to DD on but with extra grunt under the hood. Then I can go 100% track spec on the tC.

I probably will stop around 450-500whp on the tC. If I ever get the urge for more, I might go up to 550-600 or more. But that would be just for giggles.

Lol, after I get it up to around 750, I'm gonna see how long it takes me to get use to it then I'll probably go to the big stuff..... 4-digit power

I think if I were to get a second tC, then I would want to do a RWD on it, and shoot for 800-1000whp on the little 4banger. That would make one helluva ride. I wouldn't try and drift that, it would be something for the drag strip.

If I had a Supra then I would for sure put it in the 900-1000whp range.

All are opinions, mine just happened to match his. You have yours, and that's fine also.

And that's fine but why do people who do nor support a thread like to post I'n it? Just curious

I fully support legal racing, no matter the form. "Kills" could refer to that (and it's what I assumed when I clicked on the thread). I replied specifically in regards to the street racing part. I was more curious to see what forms of legal and sanctioned racing users here were into.

Personally I'm into road racing, used to be involved in SCCA a bit, now running a ChumpCar race car because I enjoy the endurance aspect as well as the team aspect.
