Yeah, thats a posibility, but as someone else already said, this whole conclusion is off of the fact that Toyota simply copyrighted the letter combonation FR-S, and companies don't usually copyright model names, only the actual car name.

Plus this is kind of a replacement for the MR-S as well. Mid-engine Rear-drive Sport becomes Front-engine Rear-drive Sport. Super original Toyota...

Windows powering stuff in my car? Not something I feel super comfortable about when a crash leads to a CRASH!

Ok, so the in the GT-S trim it's Sport and in the MR-S name it's Spyder. In this case I'm assuming it's FR-Sport. But naming a car based on its drivetrain layout is weak and unoriginal. This is why I don't like the name and would rather it be any of Toyota's old sporty-coupe names with alphanumeric trim packages like SR5 (S here meant what???) or GT-S. Hell, I'd even prefer Starlet to this empty name.

Apparently the reason North American versions get this shit (like RSX instead of Integra) is because the North American marketing-types are too concerned with building brand loyalty as opposed to model loyalty.
