Nice to see!! That goes a LONG way with a customer! I know of one dealer when I was buying the Corolla Sportivo that simply didn't get back to me until only a matter of hours before In was off to sign and pay the deposit! Only then they simply said 'how much do we have to beat?' I told them plus a little [actually quite a lot!] and they did!! Must admit they got a 94 Celica ZR in showroom condition that was sold within 24 hours!

As psoo 2010 said, existing orders will be affected. Check with your dealer but most Sydney metro dealers would've had rocks in their head quoting 4 months, but as I said check with your dealer. This bulletin was circulated to inform dealers to quote more accurate lead times.

Just talked to my dealer. He confirmed that they have my car, and I should be able to pick it up Monday or Tuesday

I just got a call from my dealer. I get the car Monday afternoon. This wait will kill me.

lol at least you guys get your car's soon. being in the 2nd batch of shipments, who knows when that'll come. got told october delivery but with all these bulletins circulating, probably wont even see the car til jan/feb. FFS!!!

From the SAP screenshots I've seen it should be off the production line on the 26/27 of July. I just want to see it change status from "scheduled" to "in production"

Anyone who's hunting for a GT and doesn't mind a drive there is a blue one and silver one at Pacific Toyota, Cairns, both MT. My salesman said there were two silvers but I couldn't find the other one on the lot, not sure if that 3rd one is MT or AT. I went to look at them after hearing about the possible 18 month wait, but am going to hang on and see what progresses with my GTS order.

How do you know which batch of shipments you were allocated to? I was told December delivery but looks like late next year atm.

When was your status from the tracking tool changed from "On Order - Production month : Still to be confirmed" to "Scheduled for Production"?
