One of the very clear rules of this forum is to leave politics out of it. Please, respect it and let this be the last post about it.

We just need to make this a weekly thing, then. These are not reputable things for a vendor to be doing and we should definitely make sure to make that heard. If this forum is lost to that, I'll honestly be lost to this forum. I honestly don't know why he's not on some global "untrested" vendors list or something, I think it is appalling that we haven't heard from either the mods about this or from himself.

Money talks on these forums, if JV gets banned then the forum is out their monthly vendor fee. That is fact.

The tags just keep me rolling. Half the reason I check these threads are to see the new tags. Not going to lie, I LOLed at "Toma is still a douche".
And let's be honest here, he didn't reinstall the fuel filter for the sake of weight reduction. BECAUSE RACECAR. You guys need to get on his level. |

Another Visconti fuckup???? I'm reading this from a cabin in Alaska laughing my ass off at the tags again.
What a douchebag. My vote goes for ban and I hope people don't buy his stuff anymore. |

Honestly.... There is no cover up or special treatment for JV. I have been in contact with a few of the global site mods about this whole situation. Whatever has happened is known and has been allowed to be posted. BRZ Fire thread to give a quick example, was let be and only closed because all information to date was already known, and it turned into a Roast. Owner of that car is more than encouraged to come in and let everyone know if at the end of the day, the investigation is able to determine exact cause of fire, no one is covering anything up. I think whether he gets banned or not should be a movement coming from forum members, because while there is a big amount of members here who are dissatisfied with him and would never do business with him again, there is also a good amount of others who are extremely happy with his products A-hole attitude and all.... If you guys can point me exactly to where the cover ups have happened, I'll be more than happy to either offer an explanation (IF I know it) or eat my crow Quote:
Anyone who thinks the owner of the site would be aggravated by losing $80 a month from JV, go ahead and look at the amount of vendors the forum has. Who knows, (and this is STRICTLY IMHO) but I think it wouldn't affect him much.
