Once the Sold-Orders are processed, it's been said by multiple contacts that if multiple orders arrive with the same buyer info, extras are automatically cancelled. So if someone has done that, they need to visit all of the dealerships they placed an order at to verufy that the order wasn't thrown out. And if it was, to get a refund of their deposit.
Ah... makes sense.

A wild thought appears! I wonder if the Impreza wheel with controls is a direct swap with the BRZ wheel.....

As for the GT500, that's a very, very different car than the BRZ. I'm surprised you're cross-shopping the two. The BRZ's power, despite the low numerical rating, is perfectly fine. But what you compare it to can change whether you find it too little or not.

On on-ramps, it should feel as quick as my spec.B. And in the past I've driven really low hp cars. So I'm going to be very happy with the power level. But if I were to drive the BRZ expecting it to compete with my STI, I'd be very disappointed.

So think about your expectations and what you should be comparing it to.
Very true, I have a spec b as well that's mostly stock. All I'm expecting is for the BRZ to be as fast as the spec b. I'm just saying I could enjoy both cars (The GT500 and BRZ) in different but for me, nearly equally enjoyable ways. If the BRZ is fast enough and is an absolute blast to drive, I'll buy it as long as it's less than 30k out the door. If it feels underpowered compared to my spec b, or Subaru jerks us around on the price/supply, then I could also enjoy the disemboweling torque and on-the-edge feel that the GT500 offers when you're liberal with the gas pedal.

Pioneer is already selling this year head units with Aha: http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PU...lter=aha-Radio

Price for it should be known already, as head units are priced.

Now, based on option pricing:

Leather seats: +1,600
Navigation: ?
HIDs: Free

Its probably safe to say that BZR Limited auto will be 26K+1,6K+?+0= 28-28.5K MSRP

Taxes, registration, fees is California: ~3,800

Total price: 32.3K OTD

And thats before other options... Homelink mirrors, underskirts, etc.

Does everybody feel like 4/5 is the X day (Newyork Autoshow)? I am also anxious to know about Crosstrek because that's probably my alternate choice. Two completely different cars, I know, but I am probably more flexible than many people in this forum.

Yep sounds like a good time to release BRZ pricing....I am actually surprised Scion released pricing so early....

At least Subaru released accessory and options pricing...something Scion has not done yet.

I'm sure some people have put refundable money down on both a BRZ and a FRS to ensure they get the best price on either car.

I wouldnt be surprised if the scions start showing up at dealers before any of the options/accessories are available. It may be awhile before those prices are available.

You could be right but the first Scion FR-S units outside of the first 86 winners will not show up to the dealers till sometime in June.
