Did you see how many were delivered in that one thread where they had them at Toyota HQ there was like 4 Silver to one red and black

I saw the Dark Grey Metallic today at a dealership on an Impreza. It was a mostly cloudy day.. With the sun behind the clouds it looked almost black and had no metal flake standing out.. To be honest, it almost looked like a matte black/grey. I didn't like it very much at all. When the sun did peak out, I could finally see a little bit of the metallic and it lighted up the color a little bit.. but still I think it was too dark for my taste.

They make the Outbacks in a Graphite Grey Metallic that is a much lighter grey.. that is HOT.. I would have been all over that color.. but not the dark grey metallic.

I was talking to a salesman about the colors and he made a really good point. He said, "close your eyes and think about a Subaru sports car.. a WRX or STI... what color do you see?" Naturally I said Rally Blue.. My retort was, "but I don't want the same color as everyone else.. won't that be the number one color?" He said, yeah, maybe.. but how many BRZ's are you going to see on the road? They will make like 5000 of them this year.. It's not like you'll see another rally blue BRZ on your way to work every day.

So yeah.. I'm sold on the world rally blue pearl. I've never owned a blue car, but it is my favorite color.. so it's about time.

Depending on which one looks less orange-peely, I'm stuck between DGM and SWP. Leaning towards SWP cuz I like the color on my Prelude and all the Lexuses/Lexi and WRXs I've seen on the road.

Anyone have an idea which one though can satisfy my criterion?

WRB for me. I really want white, SWP does not cut it. My '11 STi was SWP and it was by far the worst shade of white I've seen in a car. Also, if you ever need to repaint a panel.. it will be very very difficult to paint match a pearl color like SWP.

I can't wait to see DGM in person now. Also need to see GBS to judge for myself if it's too blurple for me.

Did a final (before settling on my pre-order color) look at different Subies under sunlight @dealer lot. WRB for me. If only DGM was the same DGM they had for 07-09 Legacys...

This one is too dark for me.
