they are that good. they can weigh 2x more than the stock shift knob and allow you to shift a lot more easier..

I assume it is very easy to flash back to stock if you have to bring the car in for an oil change or something like that?
supposedly if they hook up a computer, they can't tell it's been tuned or how many times it's been flashed but yes it's easy to flash back to stock.

let me rephrase.....you don't want some joe smoe tuning your car. of course you want a tuner with a reputation. what I ment was it doesn't matter if its Visconti, FA20club, Perrin, etc......just get a tune. you'll be happy you did.

If you find the right shift knob for you it makes a world of difference. My biggest issue with the MT was my throws seemed extremely clunky, and with some time my throws were coming from below the stock shift knob. After some research I decided upon the Team Voodoo shift knob and it sits at the height I was throwing from, which has made driving the vehicle a lot more enjoyable (hard to believe, I know).

A small investment to alleviate something that can make a large difference for some drivers.

To get on topic, First item was upgrading my car washing kit.

Summer tires - Sumitomo HTR ZIII's. I really bought these as cheap summer tires to autocross on before moving to ZII's or Rivals next year, but I'm surprised how much of an improvement these cheap summer tires are over stock BS Turanzas. I had a blast hitting some roundabouts and backroads today. Noticeably better grip and turn-in at lower speeds. Quicker responses to steering inputs at higher speeds. Can't wait to autocross on these next month, as the stock tires were awful last time.

For anyone that likes autocross/track or even backroads, I'd highly recommend performance summer tires as a first mod. Even the cheap ones will be a big improvement over the stock touring/passenger tires.

Here's the car on summer tires (mounted on 17x8 TSW Nurburgring's).
