Too much color...blue white and is that diarhea brown or some kind of watery pumpkin? Busy busy dash...but I know a production model would be closer to the FRS or BRZ interior (not the combo of both).

I don't think I would have bought a convertible version (for the added cost I would move on) but usually convertibles mean added accessories (better stereo, cargo tie downs, LEATHER, sometimes more HP) so I'll be watching this unfold for sure.

You guys keep on complaining about the seats and interior. It's a concept guys. My guess is those seats and interior will not be in the US market. US market will probably have the same interior as the current frs.

It's a concept, plus the two tone interior will probably be an option...oh wait, not of the FR-S convertible, but on the 86 convertible...

But this interior is pretty much close to production ready....

A lot of people are hating the 19 inch wheels, but I have seen many FR-S and 86 and even BRZ with 19 inch wheels. There are some 19 inch wheels that weigh less than the stock 17 inch wheels. Sure they are going to be expensive, but they are out there.

The key is for Scion to sell this for around $27K base price and it will be successful. It's not like they are going to make a lot of the convertible versions. Probably 30 percent of FR-S production if that.

It looks like they may have designed this car as being a convertible from the start. We will find out next week if that is true. The 350\370Z roadster is successful, so this one will be too, since it will be about $10k to 15k cheaper and it still has more space than a Miata.

Throw an Ecutek tune on it and a Supercharger or Turbocharger and you would have one hell of a fast convertible.

It is starting to grow on me. I wonder if this will be released in the U.S. Lets just hope they keep the insurance rates different for convertible vs coupe.
