Hey mate, got a few questions if you don't mind me asking.
How were you initiating your drift on the track. I'm almost getting the hand of holding a slide but i can only initiate by shifting the weight or just mashing the throttle. And this is your daily right? Are you do anything to balance the extra stress drifting put on the car?

I'm using the handbrake to initiate the drift. If you look closely I think you can just see me pulling it in a few shots.

This is me on the skid pan as well. This may also give you a good idea of handbraking entries.

Sure is, but I hope one day it's not. I'd love to remove the interior, add cage and remove the steering wheel/air bags and replace with aftermarket wheel. I cannot do any of this if it's my daily drive.

Pretty much every suspension mod I've done is helping the car drift. I also have 600HP upgraded axles which is probably the best investment for your car if you are going to drift it in the dry. Check my mods list on post #1.

Hope that helps buddy.

heh, a mate of mine saw your ILL86 the other day - I got text immediately saying "you have to dump your car to the ground. I saw this ILL86 just now, looked tough. Was no higher than 50mm. Do it!"

I think he's forgotten that my BRZ is still on a boat.

Hahaha I love it! Just be careful of your axles if you're going to slam yours. Our OEM dun like LOW. Peace

Nah, I won't be going as low as you've gone - the 1.4" drop with Sportlines will do me nicely I think...

ILL86 Australia - Drift build

So since having the accident on the track back in October, I've been pretty bummed out about the car and it's condition. I also simply got a bit bored with it too. One way to fix that....BOOST!

Bye bye Invidia, it's time for some 3" action.

Nice build man! Sorry about the accident. Do you have any roll center adapters for the lowered stance to support the DSS axles?

Also, what track is that? And are you near zengarage.com.au/‎?
