Nameless definitely has a cheaper setup than Perrin. Interesting Overpipe difference between both, but I'm literally torn on what to choose. I will be running a UEL header, but I know for a fact I need to keep a resonator on there or it will be too obnoxious.

I do really like the Nameless design and the weight difference is pretty significant too.

Maybe it's your inhouse weld thats the issue? Or maybe you used a cheap flex joint? idk but at least you offer a warranty!

edit. P.s mine was worse and actually had a hole in the rusted flex.
OK I see, the exhaust in that link is really old, at least 6+ years! Since then we've upgraded the flex to stainless so that would not happen on our current exhausts.

for the rust issue, all exhausts rust. period. unless you do not drive in the weather to make them rust. unless it's full titanium...like a tomei lol.

I'm just about to remove my midpipe with the flex joint probably this weekend. I'll check to see if there any signs of rust. Or anything else.

I'm still torn on both of these systems....

Perrin has a full solution from OP, to FP, MP, and Catback
Nameless has a Downpipe that counts as two parts, keeps the stock midpipe (2.1" tubing?) then goes to the axleback

Nameless weighs less and costs quite a bit less
Perrin costs more but is pieced together differently with their single muffler and overpipe

Perrin resonated sounds outstanding and so does the Nameless OP/DP system. Why can't I just have both???? Tough decision for me here soon.

Yeah, I'm debating the same thing now. Both are pretty solid companies with a good product. Makes it hard to decide!

Also having a hard time with deciding catless FP versus catted along with the resonated mid pipe. Not too worried about inspection as much as I am with nasty rasp from putting on a header.

Go High Flow Cat, there is really no reason to run catless. (Unless you will be going FI and plan to go over 500 whp of course)

Anyone that runs without a cat on the road deserves to be pulled over and heavily fined. It stinks when you follow a car without a cat, you can't mistake it and it's pumping out carbon monoxide for whoever has the misfortune to be following.
Just run a good quality high flow cat.
No excuses.

Good point. It really does stink a lot without one. May as well keep it on the front pipe as it doesn't hinder performance much. Thanks for the suggestions.

I would feel bad about running without a cat, but then every time I drive I see some asshole diesel owner POURING out black smoke because he thinks its cool. So screw it, I'm going catless.

That's it then. I'm gonna get fat because honey boo boo can!

Same logic. Not great thinking in either case.

lol, I saw this same exact scenario yesterday driving home from work. he was blowing black smoke on the toll road going 80 mph on people in the right lane from him. It was one of those older diesel work truck dualie. Needless to say I avoided him and stayed left... Hate it.

Stinks, kills ozone, and makes your bumper black. Just run a cat. What you can't see can hurt you.

Still "cleaner" than your car without a cat...
