Good job acting smart.
His reasoning is wrong, but dealerships don't use that oil.

I thought the 1st gen too? That's what I remember from back then anyways. I could be wrong of course.

I have a vague recollection that Koenigsegg or McLaren or one of the other supercar constructors used a Volvo-sourced twin-turbo V8 that had been massaged by Yamaha.

Anyone heard about that?

They were surprisingly fun to drive! I could never find a clean one though or I would have bought one.

I'm not entirely happy that this car will be NA.

Media seem to be quoting ~7sec 0-60mph. Not bad at all for a 'cheap' car, but not earth shattering either either. The Acura RSX did it in ~6sec for comparison.

The WRX does it in ~5sec, so I'm hopeful we'll get a turbo version in the future.

Well if you're talking acceleration I think it can't be much behind the RSX, considering both have N/A 2.0L engines with similar power, (hopefully) similar weight. The FT has the RWD advantage though, so it might be even faster.

^ RWD has more drivetrain loss than FWD

The only time i'll be happy this car is N/A ...is if they NEVER EVER come out with a forced induction version. If they do....I won't be happy its an N/A
