Ok... so looked thru the whole thread... Did not see anyone talk about doing a swap on an auto FR-S... When I loosened the knob it did not separate from the boot... is that normal? anyway to separate boot and knob?

I hate to say it but i had the same problem. I was a day late for the group buy and emailed them to ask if I screwed myself and they allowed me to still get in on it which was great but I have not heard anything back from them since then =\

I'm giving them the end of the week to A. Respond to my e-mail asking for an update

or B. File a claim with Paypal.

I was in GB2, was told my knob was done a week ago, and haven't heard anything since then.

Don't fret... I was getting impatient but here it is! I got in later on the second group buy so if you did the same just hang in there. I got my shipped email on Friday and it was in TN on Monday (they are in Cali). Took just about 2 weeks for my email. Hang in there guys! Totally worth it!

If you want some in car pics I can send em! I swapped it in this evening and let me say wow! I thought it wouldn't be too significant of a feel but it really did make the car feel EVEN better! It's only a shift knob too so that blows my mind! Haha Subaru needs to contract flossy out to make the standard equipment knob!

Yeah, I mean WTF. I ordered mine and still haven't heard sh*t. I asked Chad (flossboss) what the deal was, and he said it could take up to 2 weeks from the date of order for any custom engraving. Well, folks, it's been 2 weeks and a day since then. I'm gonna call them tomorrow if a tracking number doesn't hit the inbox by 9am.

I think the rest of the forum wants to see your in car pics. I've always heard good things about flossy so maybe subaru should.

Those knobs look great! The custom engraving Flossy offers gives owners the ability to add a very affordable personal touch to one of the parts of the car you'll interact with every time you drive it.
