I may have the correct harness. I only have 4 plugs off of the relay harness not 5. Its missing the ground but each of the ballast connections have their own ground.

As you can see from the pic there are only 4 wads coming from the relay harness. Each ballast plug has its own ground. Are these grounds used for the relays and the ballasts?

Did you get the harness figured out? If not, shoot me a pm. The notification comes right to my phone so I can respond quickly.

Stock compared to new. New is the smaller one.

I've retrofitted this kit and love it.. Did my own little mod to the housing for a red LED and it lights up at night a subtle red when on.. I have my ballast mounted on the wheel moulding a.. I learned the hard way about hiding them and placing them in places that when they go out pulling apart the whole bumper or fender in one case just to swap out a ballast.. Guys with the morimoto kits really shouldn't have to worry much, as their kits are top notch, but still shit happens..

I never got the boots with my retrofit.. I'm going to have to call and get two sets coming.. One for mine and one for a club member that I'm about to do a quad retrofit on.. This should look sick

Finished at midnight last night. Pretty damn easy if I had to do it again. So for anyone else doing the install you will most likely have what I think is a revised harness like mine that does not have a long ground cable that runs up to the battery. I believe the relay mount is just a ground now.

Will do some aiming tonight. Thank you so much for everyone that posted in here especially @civicdrvr. Very helpful information.

Sorry I couldn't talk on the phone last night, but I figured it was just a revised harness. Output pics?

I think I got that revised harness where the 2 cables going to the ballasts have a ground split from each one. I grounded them to the frame.

Edit: I see you covered that on your previous posts. I too have the ground coming from the relay.

im noob with a retrofit thingy, so when u do a morimoto retrofit, can u still use the HID kit u use in a halogen projector or the retrofit has its own ballast, and replacing the bulb to D2S?
