It mostly just makes the rear more predictable IMO

Oh man, now I'm chomping at the bit to get these put on. The extra power boost provides in these cars makes the stock setup a lot more twitchy.
I see less toe and more camber alignment notes. Anyone have any numbers to share? I have camber bolts up front already, and rear LCA arms and this MCA mod sitting on the bench. I'm taking notes on all this but don't have any numbers to go on. Is there a thread on alignments and the numbers that I've missed. I have looked, but only find the more here, less there commentary. I don't mean to detract from the thread, but do see how it all ties together as a package for handling, not just bolt on magic. |

My last alignment was done trackside at a shop run at the facility. I sort of just let the guy do what he wanted after giving him some guidelines on the car being daily etc. Took the car out and made 3 separate adjustments to fine tune it. I've also tried 0 toe front 1.5mm[1/16] toe rear, 3mm toe in rear[this was a misunderstanding via tech], 0 toe front and 0 toe rear. I like having around 1.5mm toe in rear, and 0 toe front or touch of toe out. If you want the front end more stable on highways stick with 0 toe front. This is the MCA traction mod thread, I won't hijack this off course with any more alignment questions. Thanks for input, but I'll do some reading and start a new thread on alignments if I have more questions.

Just wanted to followup on this thread. I tried getting the MCA traction mod, only to find out they were backordered, and shipping from Australia costs a ton. I ended up find the GP Sports traction mod due to this thread. It's unique due to the way it reinforces the subframe bushing, and includes a rear subframe bushing as well.
I really liked this mod more than I thought I would. Highly recommended. The rear suspension feels more compliant, with the same springs. |

Some reviews that I found in minkara told that rear springs should be changed to the strong ones.

GKTech has released something similar, at an extremely good price point.

I investigated that one. I don't like the direction that they mounted the spherical bearing at the subframe. It's going to max on alignment, which is really bad. Even in the pictures on their site, at full droop, you can see it either maxed or near max. |

Shouldn’t effect ride height. You are just changing the pickup point for the trailing arm. It may require slightly stiffer spring rate. MCA even states there's doesn't effect alignment.
