All iterations of the 86/BRZ come with an LSD with a starting price of 27k CAD (BRZ). Agree to disagree, I just can't see the S2K being cheaper than the Supra, at least not 10k CAD cheaper. I could see it easily in the 60k+ CAD range. Quote:
I'd rather eat glue than waste 10k I could use towards a 86/BRZ.

My 2011 BMW and 2011 Mercedes would disagree, both their interiors are wearing better and have less creaks/rattles than my 2013 BRZ, and I'm not bashing the twin's interior here, I'm thoroughly impressed with it. Sidenote, a 5 year old civic would be a 9th gen which has one of the cheapest interiors i've ever been in. The door panels flexed from using the power windows! the 10th gen is much better. |

Those all seem like super easy fixes if your going to live with them. An hour or 2 on a nice Sunday a best with a beer run... In the How-To DIY section we have all these processes covered with pics. 1.Pop off/remove the Radio surround trim and then undo the 2 screws that hold on the center vent and pull it off. You then have 2 options. If the bubbles are REALLY bad you can mix up some adhesive (2part Epoxy) and inject it into where the bubbles are and then press down. OR you can prevent plastic from unevenly expanding and reinforce the under side of the dash by epoxying on a strip of plastic. 2. When you drive the car on the highway (and can safely maintain speed,) press around the area you thing the wind noise is coming from to figure out where in the seal there might be an issue. You may be able to either identify damage to the seal or place a small bit of 3m double sided tape behind the seal to increase the thickness. Many other though have simply had the dealership replace the seal under warranty. 3. Kill the battery. Pop the radio surround off, Remove the 10mm to the left. Use a old credit card or plastic- safe pry too to pop the gauge cluster hood up. This will reveal 2 screws to remove. Lower the steering wheel and pop the cluster forward. You will have to undo one plug for the cluster. Remove the cluster and you can pop the clear plastic off by carefully undoing the plastic clips around the outside edge. Clean the plastic and reinstall. This is the same procedure used to install the Magna gauge overlays if you need a video.

Some glues taste good and can be used as a chewing gum if necessary.
