Very. They don't make a ton of different products but what they make, they make well. Take a look on NASIOC.com, I'm sure there will be reviews.

Personally I would trust them long before I would trust perrin.

Kartboy has been there since the beginning of nasioc/iclub. They have an excellent rep.

I didn't feel too much of a difference with just a pulley. The flywheel was a massive difference though. All positive things though. Faster revving up and down. No issues. I posted a video a while back if you want to take a look.

Automatic= no flywheel, unless a flywheel is the flex plate.
So does a auto have a flywheel?

HI,

ThePerrin only has Crank Pulley.

Is thata good idea to replace the water pump and alternator pulley together?

Thanks.

Were a pretty small shop. Basically me and the shop next door helping me weld ETC. Everything is made here in the USA. Most of our parts are made in house. With roughly 26,000 shifters sold in the 15 years in business. Ive had one failure due to a huge extension on the shifter.

Our pulley comes in just a shade under 1 pound. few hundred out in the wild with no issues so far. I'm running one on our shop car with an innovate supercharger kit and its running great.

Hit up our website page or our facebook link and see what we have going on around the shop.

From my personal experience, a lightweight pulley is more noticeable on an automatic than a manual. You will still feel the gains on a manual, just not as much oomph as you would on an AT. For $95 I would definitely consider it in the future.

Tom, how exactly does one install this on an A/T 86/BRZ? I believe it requires some special tools not needed with an M/T install.

Not exactly sure. I assume you need to lock the flywheel to keep the motor from spinning. let me ask my guy at SOA what their procedure is.

Tom
Will wait for this. Interested in doing this mod, but holding back because of the AT.

You can always use a chain wrench. The chain wrench will hold the stock pulley in place while you loosen the crank pulley bolt.

I have something similiar to this but mines is Snap On. I mainly use it for holding crank pulleys to do T-belts on certain cars. Like Honda and Subaru.

So I picked up the perrin crank pulley this weekend and didnt have time to install. I have some time now but know the engine should be cold. Anyone know how long I should give it to cool down. Its breezy out and I popped the hood open fully, but did just drive it for over an hour straight????

Really want to get it in before I start loosing sun light. think 2 hours time is enough?
