Most likey did on purpose. There are TRD parts that look better than the STI counter parts or parts that STI simply did not put out for the BRZ that TRD did. I personally like the TRD strut bar better than the STI one, the shift knob looks better, the wheel, why did STI not come up with a wheel. Obviously the lip kit will not fit the BRZ from TRD, well all but the front would but the STI lip IMO looks better. Yeah it is odd, but this car as much as it is a Subaru, it is a Toyota.
