it sucks looking for places when you live in FL. Im still trying to find out more info on Odenton and what not. Not to mention the different opinions on different areas. Friends from back home who live in DC say different things from you guys. Makes it so hard haha

@DatDudeLoso

I live in Glen Burnie, and it's not too bad. It's exit 15 from route 100, so Odenton from this area is about 10-15 minutes.

Columbia is a lot better place, but cost is higher.

Severn is good too, it's right next to Odenton.

All my military friends say stay away from Severn. Im looking into Laurel, Columbia, Glen Burnie, Bowie, and since everyone on here has suggested it Odenton. How would rate em from least to worst?

On friend from back home lived in Rockville and now lives in Hyattsville. My other friend lives in DC, and i have a buddy from back home stationed at my new duty station as well. Thats where I'm getting 90% of my insight from.

Hyattsville = NO

Rockville is a far commute and people in DC probably don't know much about the suburbs.

Yeah, he has no room to talk. Hyattsville is a goddamn PG County dump with all the refuse of college kids and gangsters.

Yea he def told me stay away. He had to move there so that his sister could move in with him and it was the only place he could find that they could have afforded. He lived with a buddy in Rockville but he left to head back to NYC. Thanks for the heads up tho.
