The price is not meant to be a ripoff.
The price is reflective of the fact that this is a race-use, low volume item that is produced solely to meet the requirements of a racing series. If you have complaints about the price, see the road-going version of the Nissan R390 GT1 as well as the TS020 Toyota GT-One. Both were priced to reflect how much it cost, due to economies of scale. The price reflects the "made to order" price of the kit, not actual material cost. -alex |
