I just installed mine. It looks great! I disassembled the armrest (as previously shown) to get to the two screws by the hinge. After installing the arm rest, I realized this was unnecessary, but I don't regret it. You can bend the arm rest enough to those screws in without taking the top off of the arm rest.

Taking the top off, though gave an additional benefit. All I needed the paper template for was to line up and start the holes for the three 'guide pins'. After they were drilled and I could set the armrest down flat, I just used the holes in the arm rest itself as 'guide holes' and drilled out the rest of the holes.

Also, in place of the deburring tool I used a retractable utility knife to cut off the extraneous plastic that was left over from drilling.

It definitely fits the BRZ. The BRZ and FR-S/GT86 have the same center console. And I just installed my armrest in my BRZ.
