If I remember correctly, doesn't the Canadian model FR-S gets heated side mirrors, while US doesn't?

And my question concerning the 6.1-inch touch screen unit could very well align with this. The HU is one of the last items to be installed on the car at the port before it gets delivered, wouldn't surprise me if Scion Canada decides to cheap out. I'll hold my judgment until more info surfaces.

it's an "event psychological" it becomes a monumental issue when one imagines it to be! you can liken it someone attempting to be "marvin the mind reader"
not within the realm of possibility when zero facts are available.

I think the only reason Canada got heated side mirrors is because that's basically a requirement, given our crazy winters. There's a foot of snow outside my house right now when there was barely any yesterday. THIS IS APRIL DAMN IT! Lol.

I don't really like the look of the new 6.1-inch touchscreen head unit anyway. It looks cheap with it's plastic knobs on either side. I much prefer the upgradeable Premium Pioneer head unit available in Canada.

I'm curious now... If production starts in the beginning of August and first sales happen in September, how long does it take to build a single BRZ/86/FRS from first weld to getting loaded onto the ship?

A vid of the process would be kinda cool to see.

Supposedly it doesn't take very long to build them. AFAIK, it's about 2 or 3 days tops.

Fixed

Quoted from Car and Driver:
"We arrive at the 2012 Honda Civic, which was an undeniable sales success for the company. Honda says it sold 331,872 of the then all-new Civics in 2012, making it the bestselling car in its class that year. We presume that most buyers are perfectly satisfied with their purchases. And yet, for the long-term health of the model’s and the company’s reputation, Honda has performed a thorough do-over of the Civic for 2013, modifying its look, its interior ambience, its front structure, and its suspension and steering systems. "

This is rare but definitely not impossible.

I totally forgot about the Civic, great point! But unlike the twins the Civic was a dud with reviewers everywhere, I think thats the X factor in that decision.
