BRZ Front Badge Part Number?
Anyone have an idea what the part number is for the BRZ's front badge? @Boosted did a great job (what I've always wanted to do for a front badge on my FRS) with his BRZ, and from what I gather, all I need to do is find me a stock front BRZ badge, some CF vinyl, and another 86 badge.
So, anyone have a part number or know where I can get on? Here's some pics of the awesome work he did in case anyone's interested. |

Ouch. Just called my local stealership. Price is $82.43 (P/N: 93013CA000). Might have to look for a different option, that's pretty dang steep!
Edit: Or, just found it for $47.10 from this place. Wondering if anyone with a BRZ can take measurements of their front badge, and we can see if there's any other subi's that uses similar sized badges that we could find for cheaper... Edit 2: According to this one site, it lists the size as 67mm x 132mm. Roughly 2-3/8" x 5-3/16". Which I don't think is right, because if my Scion badge is any indication, it should be closer to 68mm x 99mm, or 2-11/16" x 3-15/16". Anyone care to measure their BRZ badge? Edit 3: Well, their size might actually be correctly listed. If you look at my super high-tech comparison photo below (stuck it to my monitor lol), it does indeed seem to be quite a bit wider than the scion badge. Which, if correct, would mean that the "base" plane where the badge mounts on the bumper is also a different shape from BRZ to FRS. Hmm... Thoughts? Sounds perfectly reasonable. They are completely different bumpers from completely different molds, they don't need to have the same indentation for badges. I wouldn't expect the subaru badge to fit if you try.

Good point, well reasoned! In which case the rear badge off a BRZ (P/N: 93033CA000, 62mm x 117mm) would make a much better fit.

Thinking about having this made. Found a neat website, only problem is, it's in the UK... http://www.domedbadge.co.uk/
On a side note, I think it'd make a great airbag badge replacement too! |
