Hm... would you recommend that intake over the greddy? I have a friend who is offering to hook me up with one at a really good price...having an intake thats CARB rated would surely help in my case, especially since I'm on the two year smog cycle

I haven't driven it hundreds of miles for the ECU to fully adjust but I'm liking it so far. The response right after ECU reset is already great like I mentioned. It makes a snarling sound that has a slight raspy growl whereas the GReddy has a louder but more continuous boom.

I'd recommend it over GReddy for its various OEM qualities described in that list of several reasons I made earlier for getting it. Only drawback - and this may no be a drawback depending on what you prefer - is it's quieter than the GReddy (so far).

Does the TRD intake box delete the soundtube? I can't seem to find that thing anywhere near the intake in the picture.

Hmm... maybe not now since I have a TRD shift knob. Too many acronyms situated too close together plus it's not an appreciable enough difference for the money (to me).

TRD push start button Lol It would definitely complete the look with your TRD shift knob!

Ship it to Alaska. I'll put it to use!

...I was going to make a comment about just coming down and grabbing it while I'm driving around the Lower 48 in May, but a quick Google search revealed that Beyer Subaru is in VA... No thanks! I plan on driving over there NEXT year, though! The West Coast gets my love this year.
