I send a request every year, but for those interested in joining the cause:

Been running without a front tag since 2003, no tickets. They like to pull me over for tint instead.

The author of the petition has to initiate the delivery. On that site it doesn't say. Usually they have a date or a threshold number.

You can also send an email or letter directly to your local representative.

totally agree. front license plates are horrible. they just use it to radar you.

You might as well just not put a front plate on then...for $500 dollars, you're crazy. It's more likely for you to get pulled over multiple times and still pay less then $500 in a year...

Was just in court yesterday for no front tag and clear side markers ... Flipped my retractable tag frame up and put back the amber side markers , took pics , showed them to the cop , charges dropped and put everything back when i got home ... Final cost $73 and im back on the road chilling ....

That's the argument the state police used at the beginning of the year when the (what seems to be yearly) bill went to the transportation committee. My question for the state police is if having a front plate is essential to aiming the radar, how are they pulling over out of state drivers with only a rear plate?

I'd be more then happy to pay the same amount for registration (I'd even pay $10-20 more every year, not $500 lol) if we joined the other half of the nation that runs only the rear plate.
