i dunno guys, my friend with the miata is very crafty and smart. he builds all his cars (suspension and engine-wise), has a college degree in a hard engineering major, has some good photography skills, lives among the community where hellaflush originated. if there's anybody i know who is careful with their cars and would do hellaflush right, it would be my friend. you can drive carefully all you want with the stretch and camber but being careful with hellaflush is an oxymoron, as my friend with the miata has proven. he has since replaced the miata with a mkiv supra turbo which isn't hellaflushed out. i wonder why.

basically, yeah it looks sick. i get that. just be aware of the reality: the high you get from hellaflush can crash lol

Just letting you guys know they are moving the +35 offset to +33, not a big change but will poke a hair more up front and be about perfect on the rear.

I'm going to be honest here as I've been eyeing the Rota Torque in 18's, but you can pick up a set of 4 XXR's in 18 x 8.75 for under $600! It's half the price of the Rota's! That's a pretty hard argument to make. Plus I live in LA where you HAVE to vallet and they ruin your rims everywhere. I'm leaning towards the XXR's and if they get damaged I can just throw it out and buy a new rim.

I see quite a few +33 and +20mm offsets now. would the +20 be for the front then?

I wouldn't personally put the +20 on this car but would be for the rear if you wanted staggered offsets. I would just stick with the +33 all around.

ok, before my long message below, anyone know the weights of the 18x8.75 527's? are they stock weight? I do not want to be weighing down my car a lot here. I wanted Rota Grids something fierce but I feel like 4 grids could cost me as much if not more than 4 XXR's and springs and chamber bolts.

Hey Joe, I am considering getting the 527's in 18x8.75 all around, +33 as you suggest. I would also be looking at lowering springs (probably eibach sport line, the bigger drop ones) and I think I would need chamber bolts. I would also need a set of lug nuts to finish it all off, probably go with a set that compliments the rims so like gun metal* or something. I would like to order from a vendor from this board and you give everyone such great support, it makes sense I would ask you first.

If I were to order the rims, springs, lugs and chamber bolts (all I should need right?) from you, would I get a fairly good package deal? That 25% coupon online is very enticing, but you mentioned you could possibly match it or beat it.

I think I would also get a white line/perrin shifter bushing (probably not transmission mount I hear it can bring some vibration noise into the cabin..unless you suggest it)

I live in Canada, postal code is s4l 1b2. tax return season is upon me after all let me know what you think. I have a local guy I will probably consult with too but I want to hear what you think.

Are your prices on tyres competitive? rubber up here isn't cheap - but shipping heavy tires is also not cheap. Another question worth asking

THANKS!

*if I paint the rims, it is safer to go with a neutral lug nut instead of red or something.
