As a former delivery driver for Jimmy Johns ...

I must say I'd consider going back to JJ's (while I'm still here in college) in order to drive it all day!

I loved being a JJ's driver! You literally get to drive all day long. (There are more orders for cheaper sandwiches, and speed of delivery is key at JJ's; its the perfect driver's job)...plus you get tips .. and those are always a surprise ... you'll never be happier for $3 in your life ... "Holy hell this guy gave me a $4 tip!". . . When I worked there the only thing that'd make it more fun would be driving in something nicer than my 1998 Dodge Avenger :P

Props ... but .... maybe for a different delivery joint

Maybe, but I'm just financially conservative. Spending 30-50% of your income in a depreciative asset isn't very wise, even if it's fun. That's a larger percentage than I would pay for a place to live. To each his own I guess

An FR-S isn't that expensive. I'm sure he/she makes more than enough to make the payments at the end of the month.

Must say I'd be surprised if said delivery car was a 40 grand+ luxury car or something, but this is just an fr-s. almost anyone with a decent income can afford it. Shouldn't knock someone for buying a car they like.

Extremely sarcastically. The point was that the guy in question is BEING PAID to drive THAT!

He is making $20 an hour or more to listen to the radio and DRIVE THAT CAR! What a shitty "job"...

Oh by the way(for the others), there is no such thing as a "delivery boy", you must be an adult to do that job. Yes, I've done it and would happily do it again, the money is fantastic if you live in the right demographic area.
