Is somewhere warm an option? South Florida or Mexico maybe? I've been wanting to give Kart2Kart a shot and I know that people on the forums have had meets there before. Would give us something to do I guess. If not that maybe just somewhere with a nice driving road so we could go for a cruise?

I would love to go for a cruise too. You guys mostly live in SE MI so someone who is more familiar with the landscape down there will have to figure out a location.

I will also be posting a sign up for a trip to SE Ohio to drive an amazing road near the West Virginia border. I am working on road details and best times of year to go. This trip can be accomplished in one weekend although I recommend taking a Friday and Monday off to make it a little bit less exhausting. Be looking for the sign up, even if no one can go, I am going!

I'll leave at Port Huron and as far as I know, I don't see any FR-S in our area except mine.

Hey Guys, does anyone from here went to see the 2013 Detroit Auto Show? I was expecting that SCION or Subaru booth will have a tuner FR-S or BRZ's on display. They only have stock units in their booth. If they want to encourage more car enthusiast to get involve in buying an FR-S then they should start advertising a tuner version of this car. Just what they did in some other countries.

Scion has an Ultramarine FR-S with the 5AD body kit and wheels on it in their booth. FYI this is unusual to find "tuned" cars at the NAIAS unless it's an OEM offering. SEMA is where you want to go for an oasis of modified cars.

For a mid-winter meet: I 2nd Kart2Kart, as it's a fantastic venue for groups; pizza can be brought in, and it's always good to stay fresh with on-track seat time between track seasons.

NAIAS is run by the detroit metro dealership network, Scion/Subaru doesn't have the dealer-installed-option aftermarket support in this area like Ford/GM/Chrysler does... that is why they seem to have hot versions of their cars and subaru/scion is significantly less.

Have you guys done any modifications or upgrades with your headunit? if yes, would you like to post here the model, where to get it and any installation issues. I wanted to replace mine with those chineese made Android/tabletn HU's but I reaaly dint know how good these units are. It comes with one year warranty but you have to ship it back to China. They have 2 dins HU but 100x180mm only but I coud get side filler kit online to fill the gap on both sides. Saw some post from this forums, thougth you guys have other inputs to share.

I haven't yet but I am interested in doing so in the future. The basic pioneer unit the FR-S is kind of crappy but I don't want to get the Bespoke because of the price they charge and it isn't the greatest either. Is there any issues with warranties here? Putting in a new head unit?

Just finished my rebadging to Toyota badging. Looks great. I am ordering in a clay bar and lubricant because when I was working on the badges I was checking the paint on the car and it needs to be clayed. Not sure if the dealer didn't do it or what. 19.99 for a clay bar and lube, one of the best things you can do for the paint.

Blizzard here in Mid Michigan, just got back from my hockey game, the car does not like snow lol. My traction control comes on hard and it will shake the shifter sometimes. Not a huge fan of that it is pretty violent shaking sometimes.

Well I have the weather seal strip on the frame where my window seats when the door is closed failure. It is pulling the weather strippping up with it and has become more and more pronouced. Now it even pulls the weather stripping away from the frame exposing metal. The part is on order and hopefully the next one will work correctly.

Read your post. Checked my weather seal strip and lo and behold... mine is pulling away too.

I'm going to stop reading issues threads/posts.
