there are, some blowers have a clutch'd pully similar to how a ac compressor works. Blower doesn't spin until the pully clutch is engaged.

The MR2 actually had a system like that

Yep, I believe the Mercedes Benz Lysholm units functioned the same way.

there are quite a few. I can actually think of two movies that featured a clutch propelled blower..

Mmm dyno's soon. I can smell it. I hope having a license and cable already drops the msrp a smidge.

Anyone have an idea of what kind of whp to expect with the non-cooled kit? I wouldn't mind something like 220whp.

220whp with 5psi is optimistic.

Very competitive pricing. Can't wait for dynos and videos.

Very competitive for sure the stage 2 kit complete is only 200 more then a stage one avo kit without cable and license. So with ecutek cable and license it will surely put avo way more expensive then this kit. The more that trickles out about this kit the more I like it.

This article here says they made 162kw which translates to about 220whp (Bullet being the original manufacturer).

http://www.carsales.com.au/news/spor...rcharged-34393

This article does mention the Laminova cooler, though, and it is unclear whether those results utilized it. I remember reading somewhere a while back when Bullet originally fit the Sprintex that they made around that power level then. I don't believe they had employed any cooling yet, but I can't find a link to that information now.

Hopefully when John starts creating calibrations for these, he'll present dynos of both stage 1 and stage 2.
