I live near Markham park and there are plenty of spaces for us to gather. Are you looking for a kiosk to rent out? What kind of attendance are you looking at?

I think Markham would be great, because its a midpoint and everyone says its a great park (never been there myself). I believe from the responses to the thread, and some more info it should be from 10-15 cars. I really don't know if KAB has tried Markham, but he said in FB that the park he was trying was not available that day. If you can help set that up it would be great, I really want this met to happen next Saturday the 3rd.

Im really down for whatever as long as it doesnt get too far from home, tropical park sounds good to me as it is close by.

I obviously like Tropical too cause its close to us, but to be fair to people from Palm Beach that will drive down, I think Markham is good, and as I suggested, us in Dade can meet up and drive up there which will make the trip very cool.

I will call tomorrow and ask. We do not need to check with them if all we are doing is gathering about ten cars just to meet. They get about 50 to 60 cars just for the MTB trails.

I just called the park. We do not need any permit or whatnot to gather. There are plenty of benches and grilles along the park. It is first come first claim your BBQ. We can park along the lake near the entrance to the right. The park charges an entrance fee, like $1.50 per person I believe. What do you think?

I just got off the phone with Andres at KAB, and the meet is OFFICIAL!!
(Just like Red Devil just said, we will not be in a pavilion but will be in the BBQ area.)


KAB Autos will sponsor the meet and will provide BBQ food!! The meet will be in Markham park Saturday November 3rd from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

As I had stated before, Dade area guys, lets meet up at noon and drive up to the park together.

I am suggesting meeting up in the Dennys parking lot off 88(Kendall Drive) and Tpike. (This is a clearly visible area, and it is seconds away from the Tpike.) Another option could be Dolphin Mall.
