@Don or anyone else who might know, what is the likelihood of a turbo kit producing 300+ HP at the wheels on regular 91 octane pump gas? I'd also like the torque to pick up pretty quickly so i have usable grunt for city driving. I only ask because out here in Phoenix, E85 is available but not in San Diego where i like to spend my weekends driving. I'm not looking for obscene power since the car would be driven daily but i would like to be able to have a blast with the crap thats available out on the left coast.

FBM kit made over 300 wheel with a gtx28 at 8psi and a full 3" exhaust on 93, its quite easy.
With the high CR, running high boost to obtain the high HP is tough on pump gas. Thats why everyone is running e85, although Crawford Performance has made a low compression block with their turbo kit and is running testing/tuning currently for a 400+ wheel pump gas build.

As time goes on we will see more and more pump gas high hp builds(keep an eye out for two companies mentioned) due to engine components being made to allow the use of 93 instead of e85.

I can only assume you are talking about the size of the core, considering the pipeing is shorter then most the other low mounted kits.

That's all good info, and thanks for posting it. But the question was about dreaded 91 octane, the same shit I have to deal with
