Do you know what "Subaru" means?

The stars on the Subaru (originally pronounced su-BAR-oo) logo represent the parent company and 5 sub companies that make up Fuji Heavy Industries (awesome Anime/Dark future company name btw).

I read an old article that said Celica meant to it to be heavenly and Celica Supra as in supreme heaven or greater than heaven

But I have also read that Celica was in referance to the celestial dragon and Celica Supra was supreme celestial dragon.

Who knows it could just be fans of the cars making stuff up :P

Straight from the horse's mouth. According to Toyota it comes from Spanish (I'm assuming celestial) and means "of the sky" "belonging to the sky" "God's" "Heavenly"
