If your driving the speed limit you shouldnt need upgrades. Even with upgrades you can still only use 100% at a time if you dont know what that 100% is you shouldnt be wanting to use it on the road. In order to figure out the limit of anythin you must go past it how do you go past it on the street? You dont! You go to driving school!

Yeah, but I wish they would ask before making presumptions.

So, would you have any recommendations for me please?

Let me give you an example, the Renaultsport Megane RS 250 Cup has one of the best chassis in the world for handling. It has less body roll than the 86, so how can I get it better? Even driving @ 50kms an hour you can tell the difference going around a corner. Going slow around a round-about all 4 wheels feel solid on the road w/ the Renaultsport... I want the same with the 86.

as previously stated tyres and cusco struts and braces but please if you are going to add these parts for the reason you have said please go do a driver training course, because the type of driving you are talking about brings about unwanted complicatons, and a driver course would give you the tools to deal with these complications

Do do know that everything's a compromise don't you. If "as minimal roll as possible" is your main priority you are going to end up with over sprung car that will probably give away it's progressive break away behavior.
So what you want to do is lower it with higher rate springs, after market dampers to match the springs, then anti-roll bars to tweak the steering to your liking.

Surprised this thread is already at page 2!!

As you have stated - you are not planning for any racing or track days - so i wouldn't see the point of doing those mods, unless your planning to hoon around...

seriously, going around slowly through a roundabout how your meant to in normal city driving your not going to feel the difference between the 86 and megane.....

But if you do insist... others have already mentioned parts etc which would help... I'd think money would be better spent elsewhere

QFT - minimal body roll does not equal great handling - and the RS250 is an FWD car not RWD with completely different driving characteristics.

If you want great handling - the car has that as stock, and certainly more than you will be able to legally and safely explore on a public road.

Suggestion - invest the money you would have put into super stiff springs and or coils into an advanced driving course - that will improve your handling much more than farting around with your suspension with no real idea of what is "good"
