Tires, tires, tires.

Then I'd get an exhaust system.

All the while attending as many auto-x/driving events I could.

Because on the internet...you always get what you want.

I'd say spend money on tires, and as many HPDE/Auto-x events as you can fit into your schedule.

He likely doesn't want that advice either. /shrug

But regardless, I am AT LEAST entering the auto x this coming month for sure. Just to try it out at least once before I start saving up to get outta dept. It'll be my motivation

Any DIY install instructions floating around for the Perrin shifter bushing? Thanks.

stop tech brake lines, rotors, and pads. Then driver coaching. Then save up for some sticky tires, id suggest Hankook RS3's. After that I would do coilovers or springs. Hit me up if you need anything.

I followed the instructions that came with it. They have instructions for the WRX/STI listed on the site though, which are similar:

https://www.perrinperformance.com/sh.../pspinr005.pdf

It takes a bit to push the new bushing onto the shifter, but if you wiggle it side to side it will slide on. Dont forget the lube too.

I had a bad day yesterday.

I seriously think that going to any event should be the first thing anyone does in the car. Air up the tires to avoid roll over and feel the cars balance with the traction control totally off. It really makes you appreciate how good it is stock and what you feel it needs to suit your driving.
