1.0 FRS - Ten Years Later

My 1.0 FRS turns ten this year. Time to get it cleaned up. It has been my daily driver summer car. Currently with about 47,000mi.

New tires
Brakes and clutch flushed
New battery
Wiper blades
Air filter
Compound and Polish the paint
Clean all the windows
Clean the wheels off the car
Oil Change
Some small repairs.

Congrats on your beautiful yellow RS 1.0. Have you owned it since new? I’ve had a number of vehicles I’ve kept 10 years and longer. Makes me sad though for all the ones I wished I’d kept and didn’t or couldn’t. I often wonder who bought my 2017 BRZ Inazumz (Series Yellow) and what condition it’s in now?

Annnnnndddd ...... I see you have TWO pick up trucks. One with a camper shell ON IT and one without. How handy, that way you don't have to keep taking off and putting on the shell -

Whose job is it to watch you this weekend?

One is Beddy, and the other Shelly. I didn't plan on having two almost identical 2005 Dodge Rams. When I got mine, my Dad went out the next week and bought one. I bought Dad 's from my Mom after Dad died for my youngest son.

Wife is on socks and meat cutting duty.

Bough my car June,2015 with 19k miles on it. I'm finally about to get a new clutch put in a week from Monday. The clutch itself is probably fine, but the throw out bearing just started making a lot of noise a few weeks ago. Might as well take care of the whole thing. Also still running of the original serpentine belt, which will be changed.Getting a new water pump put in as well.

All in all,not bad for a car that now has 109k miles on it.Easily the most reliable car I've ever owned.
