Rifle noob here.
What's with the 2 piece scope? I've not seen such a device before.

The front sight is a 1x, the rear is a flip to side magnifier, usually a 3x. So the 1x is the primary optic and magnifier is off to the side. For longer shots you can flip the magnifier in line with the primary optic.

Here is a photo of the magnifier flipped to the side, though I think this is an airsoft setup.

NGL, I'm digging this revamp of the Tomcat. Overpriced? Yes. Under powered? Debatable. Still cool? Absolutely!

I got to play with one recently the the tip up barrel has it's place, I guess, but none of the ladies in the class I took had difficulty working slides on other guns.

Finally took a good picture of the first rifle I ever purchased (from my buddy who got me into shooting):

If you've been on the fence about getting a suppressor because of the wait times and you haven't heard the news....

Finally decided to get something for plinking. While my original desire was a Beretta CX4 Storm, they are nearly impossible to find. And rumors keep circulating they were discontinued (again). I'm a fan of PCC's and have spend enough time behind an AR-15 and M4 that I have rode that ship long enough. I just wanted something cheap and fun. And since I couldn't find the Beretta, I figured, why not give the Kel-Tec Sub2000 a try lol. Just so happens their Gen 3 just released so I picked one up in FDE. I did the assortment of mods and have put about 500 rounds through it. To my absolute surprised, I didn't have a single FTF/FTE/stovepipe or anything else. It ran flawlessly!

The funniest part, being an HK fanboy, the guy at the counter when I went to pick up the rifle laughed that I was wearing an HK shirt, picking up a Kel-Tec. Regardless, it's been a blast to shoot!

I was looking into Sub2k as well, but when I was watching the review, I saw the issue w not able to mount red dot or other stuff on the top. So went w S&W FPC instead. I know current gen can twist it to the side to able mount stuff on the top.

Another reason I went w FPC is, I have M&P 2.0 Metal, so both FPC & M&P can use same mags to keep things simple.

Currently waiting on Holosun SCS-MP2 to come (should be coming this weekend) & debating to buy M&P 2.0 Carry Comp or upgrade my current carry P365X w P365X Spectre Comp slide to reduce the little bit of muzzle flip

I also remember the stories of people complaining about that. But when they announced the Gen 3 and that it had that feature, coupled with not being able to find a Cx4 Storm, I felt just right. I also did not know of the M&P till after I had bought my KelTec

Also to add, I was looking into Px4-Storm as well. Specifically SD-G model. We have few available at my local gun shop, but I went to buy M&P 2.0 Metal instead.

I was actually considering one too! But the Compact Carry 2 variant. I may still pick one up at some point, but the car mod itch has returned for my Corolla.

Also I forgot to mention one flaw with the Sub2k. I'm an ambi-shooter and much prefer left handed. Unfortunately, I get so much hot smoke and gunk shot at my face shooting left handed, it deters me.

Just submitted a Form 1 this weekend for this beauty.

I also bought a bunch of Crye mag clips cus I like the idea.

Also picked up a Beretta A300 Ultima Patrol. I've thrown a few goodies on it already.

And threw a cheap light on it just because.
